Simon has actively participated in standardisation since 1986 and is the chair of BSI GME21/7 – Condition Monitoring of Machines, and former chair of ISO TC108/SC5 - Condition monitoring of machine systems, and convenor of ISO TC108/SC5 WG8 – Condition Monitoring Guidelines. Standards he has project managed include ISO 17359, ISO 10816-6 & ISO 20816-9. He has been closely involved in the development of ISO 18436-2 and the UK's vibration monitoring training accreditation initiative with BINDT. |
